The eastern lion pride has been very active at the lodge, roaring and keeping guests awake until early mornings. The seven cubs of this pride sometimes entertain themselves on the deck in front of the lodge and the cushions on the veranda is disappearing one by one.

The leather couches on the deck has a number of scratch and bite marks and does not look so new any more. These cubs are 15 months old and growing by the day.

While the cubs are entertaining themselves the resident mail and females spend their free time mating, this could be very noisy as well. We hope to have some new furry faces in the near future. Talking about furry faces, we have had good sightings of bateared foxes.

Increased activity at the waterhole in front of the lodge gives good sightings of Kudu, Gnu, Giraffes and Warthogs throughout the day.
